Take Action Episodes/Collaborative Episodes

WCB's Take Action episodes show how children can make change in their communities by identifying and helping to solve issues that they see around them.

How can you Take Action in your own community?

  1. Identify a problem that you see in your community. Think about the problem, and what you can do to improve it.
  2. Research the issue: Go to the library or look on the internet for resources that can help you learn about the issue in your community, and some solutions that you could help put in place.
  3. Take Action: Work on a plan for solving the problem. Work with friends and family on your plan, and even connect with people that can help you, such as members of the local government, teachers, or experts on what your problem relates to. Put your plan into motion.

Our collaborative episodes are written with the help of the wonderful students at your Story Hosts' school, or occasion comrades from various camps. A prompt comes from one of these people, and smaller details come from others, and some help provide constructive feedback on what is being written
